Sprint is critical because mobility is king in Arena. Other builds are possible but this is tough to beat.
#GENERAL ARENA TACTICS WOW PLUS#
On the plus side, if you go DPS, you have a decent chance to win, even if you suck, because one bad DPS player does not have a huge impact, but if you are a bad healer, then your team will lose a lot.Įquipment: The way to go is Nature Staff with Rejuvenation, Stalker Shoes with Refreshing Sprint, Assassin Hood with Meditation, Druid Robe with Obsessive Burst and the Mistcaller.

The problem with using a DPS spec is that your queue times can be up to 20 minutes (as compared to 1 minute with a healer), so it can take hours to get your 3 wins if you are a newbie. If you plan to mostly do group activities, then holy is a good way to go. You can also go holy which will make you somewhat more powerful in Arena, but reduce your solo ability. The easiest wins I get in Arena are when the other team has no healer. I would recommend against this, both because it is against the ethics of Arena and also you will lose a LOT if you do this, especially at Tier 4. I saw one YouTube video where the guy was recommending queuing as a healer, but then DPS'ing anyway. You can go DPS, but your queue times will be a lot longer. I went nature because that spec let me both heal in Arena and also do solo expeditions a lot faster than a holy spec would. Be forewarned: Arena can be pretty brutal if you are undergeared and you can lose a lot of games and get verbally abused, but it is one of the best ways to progress early on.

This is a guide for new players that want to make the most out of Arena when they are starting out. If you follow one of the YouTube instructionals for leveling fast you can get into Arena in your second or third day of play. Arenas are a good way for T4-6 players that are new to the game to get silver and skill books.
